Operating and safety regulations of the climbing center

Lezecké centrum V16 s.r.o. (hereinafter Climbing Center V16) offers quality conditions for sport and entertainment for all visitors, from performance climbers to beginners. We would like to offer high-quality sports in the long term and for this we ask you for your cooperation. The Safety and Security Regulations define the rules of climbing and behavior in the area of the climbing center. It is valid and legally binding for all visitors, and every newly arrived visitor is required to become familiar with the rules and safety at the climbing center and to confirm their reading and observation in the electronic system.

Visitor Rules and Obligations:

1. Climbing wall V16 (Business Address) is part of the University of West Bohemia and it is necessary to follow its guidelines. The parents are responsible for the movement and behavior of their children and adolescents under the age of 15. Smoking is forbidden throughout the area.
2. All visitors are aware that they practice climbing and other sport activities on their own responsibility and risks and confirms that they are fully aware of all the dangers arising from this activity. All visitors note that climbing (bouldering) is up to 4m high without any belay, and any drop from this height can be injured. When climbing up to this height, it is advisable to use a accompaniment (breaker) to control the eventual fall from a height. With the security and the technique of the fallback from the boulder wall, it is possible to get acquainted with the individual climbing course V16.
3. Every visitor is obliged to assess his or her actual health status, physical abilities, skills and climbing experience before starting sports activities on the wall. The operator does not recommend climbing on the wall to pregnant women and people with health problems. The operator is not liable for any damages to the health of the visitors resulting from the revaluation of his / her own abilities or health condition.
4. Wall climbing is allowed only to persons who have announced their arrival at the reception and have opened their account in the form of a chip. Visitors are strictly forbidden to enter the wall and practice climbing under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances. The operator is entitled to refuse the entrance to the wall to a person who is obviously under the influence of alcohol or addictive substances.
5. Persons under the age of 15 may only perform sports activities in the Climbing Center V16 under the direct supervision of their legal guardian or other authorized person over 18 years of age. Every adult arriving on a wall with children assumes responsibility for their behavior and is responsible for observing the safety rules and operating rules.
6. A person over the age of 18 may directly supervise a maximum amount of three children.
7. Every visitor older than 15 years is required to familiarize himself with the operating rules. Upon request by the operator or the person (s) empowered by him / her must also prove his / her identity and age by submitting an identity document or other identity card with photographs.
8. Persons aged 15 years and under 18 years old can perform sporting activities in the Climbing Center V16 separately only if the operator shall submit a written parental consent, in which the legal representative stating that he agrees with separate operating sports activities your child bouldering, and that he assumes full responsibility. Otherwise, persons older than 15 and younger than 18 years on the wall to carry out sports activities only if accompanied by a person 18 years or older who will take responsibility for him and acknowledge this operator a written statement. 1. 9 Operator is entitled to register and verify their need for parental authorization for the fact that their children practice bouldering and other sport activity and also a statement about taking responsibility for a person under 18 years of age.
9. For security and technical reasons, the stroller's entry into the wall area is not allowed.Climbing courses are not allowed on the wall without the operator's consent.
10. For safety reasons, one adult may have a maximum of 3 school-age children. In the case of courses organized by the operator, this condition is not apply.
11. Only climbing shoes are allowed on the climbing wall.
12. Visitors have the opportunity to rent sports equipment (climbing shoes, magnesium chalk).
13. Every visitor is obliged to maintain cleanliness and order in all areas of the climbing wall. He is required to adhere to the fire prevention principles and to familiarize himself with the Fire Alarm Directive posted in the wall areas.
14. It is strictly forbidden to smoke and use addictive substances in the areas of the climbing center. Alcohol can only be consumed in the designated area.
15. The operation of a business activity in a wall space is only allowed with the consent of the operator.
16. In the case of damage or loss of rented equipment, the operator shall charge the visitor with adequate financial compensation for the damaged item.
17. The operator is authorized at any time to expose a person who violates the provisions of these Operating Rules, including safety rules, from the Climbing center V16. The visitor is obliged to pay the entrance fee according to the valid price list. The operator reserves the right not to allow entry to a person who has repeatedly committed such violation of the operating rules or safety rules on the wall.
18. Visitors are aware of the fact that Climbing Center V16 area is monitored by security industrial cameras during the operating hours. The reason is to check compliance with the operating rules and safety rules of the visitor and to protect the safety of visitors and other persons. The operator guarantees that the record from an industrial camera keeps only for the time allowed by law and uses it exclusively for its purposes. The operator guarantees the protection of personal and visitor data.
19. Visitors acknowledge that the wall operator is entitled to take photographs and video footage during operation, especially climbing, climbing courses and climbing events. The acquired material will be used for the marketing purposes of the operator, mainly a presentation on the Internet (Facebook, Youtoube and the V16 website).
20. By signing the operational and security, visitors express their consent for the operator to process the personal data provided by them pursuant to Act No. 101/2000 Coll., On Personal Data Protection, as amended, for the purpose specified by the operator for the time strictly necessary to achieve this purpose.
21. The operator uses a chip system to simplify operations. For sports in the climbing center, it is necessary to register at http://app.v16.cz and get acquainted with the above-mentioned operating and safety rules. At the first visit to the sports ground, the receptionist completes the registration, the visitor receives a chip and, by signing the operating and safety rules, can run (start) sports activities in the climbing center. A one-time fee of CZK 50 is charged for the chip. Loss of the chip and reissue is charged again.
22. Upon entering the climbing center, the visitor will receive a key from the wardrobe at the reception, which is subject to a refundable deposit of CZK 100. Upon leaving after paying and returning the key from the locker room, the deposit will be refunded. If the key is lost or not returned on the day of climbing, the deposit will be used for the costs associated with replacing the lock. 24. Chip is non-transferable. In case of misuse, the operator reserves the right to cancel preferential chip inputs.
23. The operating rules are valid from June 1st, 2021 and are binding on all visitors.
24. The Operator reserves the right to change and update the Operating Rules at any time. Existing registered visitors are informed by e-mail about new operating rules. In the event of major changes in safety concerns, the operator will be required to present updated safety rules to existing visitors.

Furthermore, I declare that I will practice climbing and other sport activity in the Climbing Center V16 at my own risk, I realize that the movement on the climbing wall, in the height includes risks requiring a responsible approach, I became familiar with the operating rules and I will follow it.
